- Believes he is better than anyone like if he is put in a group with people that aren’t as smart as him. At that time, he will be annoyed with the jock that is his partner
- If he was told to correct his work or to change something he would be offended because his work is the best
- The only person that can judge his work would be a teacher
- He is not a person to share his work with other people because he takes great pride in it. No one is allowed to copy it or use it because it is his own work and no one else will understand it
I like how your imagination ran away with you. Good observations into the heart of a nerd - I find that some people are skilled intellectually but blunder emotionally and socially at times. Good observations and interesting thoughts, a nerd isn't often someone we're encouraged to relate to.
ReplyDeleteI could see this character being an interesting one in a story or play. I like how you drew him to be intellectually confident but socially anxious. He is self-conscious but doesn't necessarily try to be something he's not--he just hides who he is a bit.
ReplyDeleteI like how you separated it into 3 categories. You are describing the ideal nerd as well, geeky always looking around to see if anyone is watching. Your detail is very precise and I agree with Tiffany about him being a great character in a story.
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job of getting inside this guy's head. I can definitely see him in a group of people getting frustrated with those that are less intelligent than himself. He probably hides behind his brain and doesn't really show anyone else what he's really like.

ReplyDeleteI thought you did a good job with these descriptions. I liked how you saw what he looked like and imagined what he might be like. I liked this line: "His jeans are loose just like his shirt because he probably doesn’t really know how to dress himself."
